This year's annual Boot Camp has already been scheduled for the 8th July to 10th of the same month. Three days of some serious Mobile Action. All Mobile Technology Techies and Enthusiasts are advised to attend. Tickets are already being sold and as usual lots of fun expected there at Strathmore. Basically, Boot Camp involves a couple of talks from key industry players and later some quality training which is always closed by a quiz like competition.
This years theme will be 'Harnessing the potential of mobile applications for Africa' .On the 8th of July, there will be speakers from the industry touching on a variety of relevant issues including converting your ideas into business and Grants for local application developers. 9th and 10th of July will see hands-on development sessions in Beginner and Intermediate Java ME, SMS/USSD and Python.
Tickets are already being sold, either through the web or mobile. Mail or SMS confirmations will be sent respectively. Non Strathmore students pay 1500/= while Strathmore students pay 700/= for tickets.

I have already registered and even booked a lab. I will be at the SMS/USSD lab. Check me out there. Other labs were also interesting and almost as inviting.
